Part IV:Pärnu
Pärnu is a southern seaside city of Estonia. I really love the scenery and the architecture of Pärnu! Youthful, relaxing and full of charms. There are many lovely cafes, festive roadside decorations, greenery plants and exciting nightlife. It is again a wonderful time to stroll through the city.
Please enjoy some of my travel photography along the way: I love hte bars and the carousel in the mid of the road.
The buildings are so beautiful!!! Most of these were taken by Sony A7RV with Sony 24-70mm f2.8 GM II and Voigtlander 40mm f2.8 heliar Aspherical lens. Amazing colors and contrasts!! Love them!! Occassionally, I used the Laowa 10mm f4 cookie lens for ultra wide shots. The cafe below was a gem! Fantastic interior and tons of delicious cakes. And very IG-able!!
Leisure walk.
I spent almost two and a half days in Parnu.
For the foodie above, I used the beloved sigma 20mm f1.4 dg dn art and shot wide open at f1.4 or at f2. Lovely bokeh. The restaurant is called Mon Ami. Their dinner was awesome, the drink hazelnut latte above is superb.
I was very honored to be invited to perform a solo piano recital in the reknown historic hotel in Pärnu: the Villa Ammende! Ammende is a unique art nouveau villa, a home to Pärnu's most noble restaurant and the most special hotel.
Piano concerto program: Mozart – 9 Variations on a Minuet by Duport, K.573 Chopin – Scherzo no.4 in E major op.54 Polina Nazaykinskaya – Sparks Carol Worthey – Ice Cream Sweet
It was such a absolutely wonderful experience to share music with the attentive, smiling audiences. The piano there is an 100+ years old Grand Piano. When I came to rehearse, the piano technican was just finishing his tuning and told me he tried the best but the pedal was sneaky. Haha. The tone of this piano was singing with only the pedal is making a little noise there.
An interesting Greek restaurant in Pärnu The restaurant is called Oregano Restoran
