One would absolutely be amazed by the cute, aesthetic cafes in Seoul, South Korea. I visited Seoul twice this year one in October and the other December.
The newest Nudake in Gangnam-gu is such a croissant wonderland. A great IG-able spot!!

The above is taken from Maison de Margarett, an eye-catching bakery shop with its awesome design. I recommend their signature apple and strawberry pastry! That is delicious!!

In October, it's a good time to see Kochia scoparia! This is the Olympic Park which originally I intended to see the Pink Muhly but unfortunately I was told that there is no pink muhly in Olympic Park as usual this year.

Lunch at Jungsik Seoul, a 2 Michelin stars Resturant in Apgujeong area of Seoul

Spectacular contemporary, creative Korean cuisine. Taste as beautiful as it looks! The welcoming dish "banchan" consists of 5 Korean small bites was mind-blowing!
The beef tartar with parmesan cheese brioche was superb and the steamed egg with Korean mushroom in the front was very refreshing. I found the Voigtlander 40mm f2.8 Heliar did a great job in photographing food.

Very creative combination (cream cheese, caviar and egg yolk) and their flavors balance so well. Their octopus was the best I can ever imagine.

And their signature dish Dolhareubang– a dessert served in the shape of a rock statue found on Jeju Island was fabulous.
Overall, it was a fantastic lunch and unforgettable fine dining experience. The service was flawless and there are many "Wow' factor. I highly recommend.

Mammamia Cafe 도산맘마미아

A wonderful cafe I went both in October and December! Their signature pink red building was so beautiful with the green trees in the entrance.
The interior is a gem for vintage design with various attractions. Floral corners, vintage furnitures, garden 2/F, tons of delectable desserts as well as intriuging artworks display.
​You will fall in love with this cafe and will spend the whole afternoon in here.

In October, I use sigma 20mm f1.4 dg dn art elns for drinks and interior but I use sony 24-70mm f2.8 GM II in December. The sigma art did show its advantage in low light for shallow depth of field which makes the images more dreamy.

In 2024 September, I went to Seoul the third time. It was still very enjoyable and refreshing to visit.
There are so many hidden beautiful places to discover.

Yes, you can find it in Seoul. It's always very interesting to discover Seoul
Cultural Citizen Seoul is the place that serve such innovative dessert omakase. The season they were featuring a Thai-themed set. The idea of incorporating Pad Thai into dessert is ingenious and surprisingly amazing. The last course is a great success of reimagining the traditional Thai mango sticky rice with Coconut cake, Banana Brownie and mango passion fruit sorbet. It was a wonderful finale.
